I'm not saying don't use boxrec, it's a handy tool. I use it for the prediction league I'm in.

So that's Olivares, Rose, Harada and Jofre you're dissing?

Your knowledge of the sport is based on statistics.

You don't know how far my knowledge of the sport goes.

if u want any credibility , y do not u show it by playing with d nice vBookie system ? like your friend Feme did :yep ?

my knowledge of d sport is based on highly detailed statistics , linked 2 each other , backed up / solidified by hundreds of fights watched about 1/3-1/2 of which repeated 2-5 times .

Jofre rarely per4med under d effects of jet lag , etc . His opponents did , however .

I doubt his #1 spot in my list .
but yes , I dissed them all .
U never convinced me y they were better than Lujan , Vazquez , (Gaby) Canizales , Raul Perez .

And u defin8ly follow d sport 4 a much longer period than i do , and keep sticking 2 heroes based on hero worshipping .

Lujan, Vasquez, Canizalez and Perez all boxed in my lifetime as well you know and were all very good fighters.

Statistics are part of the game as you say, but they don't always tell the whole story.
Fighting away from home, I agree with you, it makes a big difference but Jofre did box on the road as did Rose (how someone who knows boxing can call him a borderline bum I'll never know), Harada not so much.

A total shutout and picture perfect performance, from Camacho! He took a really good fighter to school in Ramirez, to the point where the seated champion didn't even look like he belonged in the same ring with Hector.

so what makes Jofre , Olivares , Harada , Rose better than them ? or gr8er ? or anything ?

Who did Jofre fight away from home ? 7 times overall he lost 2 decisions 2 Harada . He has 1 possibly big win away from home against Medel .
But Medel also gets over8ed and in fact was shakier and less consistent than Vazquez 4 example .
Medel probably was good but gets over8ed .

all based on d ignored fact that d 118 title switched hands in a descending order of quality from Jofre 2 Harada 2 Rose (probably 118's all time low) and then Olivares was a step up but due 2 big rise from d obscene depth gets over8ed . But even Olivares won d title from n extremely drained fighter whom even was d weakest link in d not so strong even otherwise chain .

Bernardo Caraballo lost all of his big outings by KO .

Maybe except 1 which he either still lost / won by decision or just 1 out of 6 that he had something going his way if that 1 time happened at all .

    Jofre > Harada > Rose <<<< Olivares < Herera < Castillo

    also , Zarate >>> Rose , Chandler >>>> Rose

    Lujan ~ Jofre

    Darchiniyan , Moreno ~ Zarate

Canizales ~ Perez ~ Vazquez > Every1 except Lujan and maybe Jofre

which makes Rose just what i claimed it 2b , n OT low .

No , u r a pathetic mentalist whom thinks that he knows anything due 2 watching more irrelevant fights than i did , and your minimal vcash just reflects exactly on your knowledge of d sport as well as other cognitive (in)capabilities .

    And after all d years , u r also still ignorant .

    Naseem Hamed TKO7 Wilfredo Vazquez

    a gr8 per4mance 4 a 38 years old , remember that d gape between them is bigger than Jones' with McCallum .

Hamed scored a KD in rd 3 and about 2 in rd 7 although i think that d 1st in rd 7 was aided by n elbow / 4arm .

Vazquez may have a claim 4 a technical KD in rd 5 .

D British broadcast censored it but Hamed's back touched d ropes heavily in rd 5 after taking another straight punch from Vazquez .

Vazquez connected in nearly every rd , sometimes more than 1ce , and i mean with power punches .

There was also a break during 1 of d rds , rd 6 maybe which was caused by a very loose 2nd from d top rope which was removed and during that break Frank War_ren "talked technique" with Hamed .

Mayweather - Castillo 1. First time I have watched the fight in full, so much contraversy about it so not a bad one to enter this thread with, even if it has probably been debated a million times. Anyway here's my scorecard -

    Mayweather 10-9 Castillo Rd 1
    Mayweather 10-9 Castillo Rd 2
    Mayweather 10-9 Castillo Rd 3
    Mayweather 9-10 Castillo Rd 4
    Mayweather 9-10 Castillo Rd 5
    Mayweather 9-10 Castillo Rd 6
    Mayweather 9-10 Castillo Rd 7
    Mayweather 9-9 Castillo Rd 8
    Mayweather 9-10 Castillo Rd 9
    Mayweather 9-9 Castillo Rd 10
    Mayweather 9-10 Castillo Rd 11
    Mayweather 9-10 Castillo Rd 12

    Castillo 115-111 Mayweather

It was a close fight, one or two very close/quite hard to score rounds e.g. rd. 4, but Castillo won on my card.

You can spell. You speak perfect English. Nothing you spout is true. You're a well conceived and executed character/troll and I commend the time and dedication you've put into it.

    Naseem Hamed TKO4 Kevin Kelley

multiple KDs , officially 3 each , but i believe that Hamed was actually down 5 times .

    gr8 fight .

As usual with Hamed , his off balance style , defense and head movement made it seem like he was hurt more than he was while in fact it saved him from getting hurt more .

Hamed was gr8 @ dismantling aging fighters , but he never tried 2 prove himself while even nearly on d slide due 2 retiring in his prime after losing a decision 2 Barera without being floored or seriously hurt in d fight .
