There is a difference between a Mayweather who is unranked and coming off retirement, plus only lost his p4p title because of retirement, and a Margarito who has every win in shadow, not highly skilled, and never deserved the fight in the first place.

Juan was not the p4p king, Manny was. So again, as the p4p #1 fighter in the world (2 3 and 4 can fight who they please as long as it's legit competition) you should not be fighting unranked fighters.

Margarito was also unranked because he was a proven cheat. He had never done anything to show us that he is better without the illegal wraps.

yes he ducked mosley to fight cotto 1st. A fight that was worth more money, against bigger name, a fighter more in his prime, a fighter who beat mosley. And a fighter with a better style to give manny problems
