    Yep..

I corrected Forza for saying Hopkins had no amateur career..

He fought in Philly growing up, started at age 7 i believe.. Was Jr Olympic champ, and national prison Champion 3 of his 4 years in jail.. Sure it wasn't Jones' amateur pedigree, but it was experience none the less... I am dumbfounded that people think Nard can just start after prison and be that good.

He was also rated higher by the IBF than Jones at the time of the fight, and had virtually the same pro fights.

Floyd up there is a joke. He is good boxer but his chasing of the $$ left huge questions on his level of competition.. I mean, he fought Baldomir have Welterweight supremacy right?.. The HW mentioned could have maybe have a case for top tier resume...

I have been unwavering on my opinion that Oscar would be the GOAT had he won all his fights... The guy truly tried to beat the very best in the sport, and did pretty darn good.

What version of Hopkins beats prime Roy?

People have the hardest time swallowing the notion that Jones at anywhere from 160-175 is an absolute Nightmare.

But, but prime McCallum jabbed and kept his hands up!

There is a damned good reason Hopkins didn't move up to 175 until after JR was KTfO

160-168, I think Jones was a nightmare for 99% of the fighters there.

At 175 he really is at a disadvantage against a lot of lhw greats though. I think Spinks totally knock him out cold. Dead on the ground at 175. Spinks was a 6'3 LHW ATG with brutal power, efficency, great chin at 175, and he is a master at taking one of your mistakes in a second to end you. As gifted as Roy was at 175, he would have made more than enough mistakes for a Spinx Jinx to leave him feeling like Tarver's KO was nothing but a love tap.

Foster,Moore, Charles, even Moorer to a extend would have beaten Roy or at least pushed him to grounds we never seen him at.

I do agree Roy beats any version of Hopkins though.
