And a winner does not need to make a rematch. Lewis won the fight.

Jisi, that is called insecurity. It was almost as bad as losing and making excuse why looked so bad and not giving credit for his opponent.

I dont blame Lewis for not taking the rematch, I would have done the same thing. In the form that he was in, the odds werent in his favor when fighting a young hungry fighter like Klitschko. He couldn;t match him but used every bit of his experience to pull something out and get the job done. He was too past his best to be able to manage it again, and there would be no reason to take a loss after such a successful career.

Lewis rode off into the sunset at precisely the right time, very rare in this sport.

Damn Bro. Now WE KNOW VITALI is an ATG.
He sure ****ed up a BEAST in Danny Williams. Show us more gifs of Vitali beating up ATGS. Show us how he made ATG Chris Arreloa cry and ****.
:happy **** My respect for Vitali went up 10 FOLD when I saw that gif of him punching out a BOXING GOD like Danny Williams.

(who lost to Manuel Charr, who LOST to Vitali, further proof that Vitali is the true Goat)

Lennox cracks me up....HW boxing needs more rivalries....he's a credit to the sport and retiring on top (even if i wanted a rematch) with brains and cash intact deserves massive respect...

I like his logic in waiting for tyson...didnt want anyone saying "what if"...why didnt he take away those what ifs against any southpaws?

Tyson was far past it when he fought Danny...Danny had some boxing skills and Mike showed a weakness to those in '90 and in the LL fight....

why are you making this thread about Vitali vs LL? gtfo, Vitali was like a third of the topic in that interview....go to the sticky

Yep. He retired after beating every tom, dick and Harry. He cleared out the HW division like, just like Calzaghe did at SMW and LHW.

    Brits for you. :good

Lewis went pro at 23, a perfectly normal age to go pro especially for someone who wanted the olympic gold. He didnt HIDE anywhere.

Maybe if Tyson hadnt been raping people, then giving Lewis money to step aside because Tyson thought Evander was easier and then maybe of he wasnt getting banned for biting peoples ears and then assaulting people in public, then maybe we may have seen the Tyson Lewis fight earlier.

As for "just collecting cheques", Tyson was still beating world ranked opponents and had been unbeaten since Holyfield when he fought Lewis.

Plenty of people at the time were saying he could beat Lewis.
Lewis,in case you forgot, was older than Tyson.
