Facing fighters is commendable but doesn't boost your legacy only wins do, hence why ODLH isn't the GOAT but has a resume that if he won all fights could be the GOAT. Although Kessler did beat prime froch

I'm sure all 3 would have taken a fight with Toney or Jones Jr given the chance and they campaign actively for it. It's a shame it never happened though. Not sure if RJJ and Toney saw it as risk/ reward ratio not worth taking or what. :conf

As I say, for the record I think Jones beats them all, Toney against Benn and Eubank is close but I'd probably edge toward Toney, and they both beat Collins who I think was overrated buit he did go 4-0 against Eubank (both fights close but had Eubank still had the killer instinct he had pre Watson fight I think he'd win both) and Benn (who was shot by then) so I have to include him somewhere but he also drops in my opinion for shamefully ducking Calzaghe.

    :rofl:rofl:patsch

Was it Abraham's win over shot Taylor or debatable win over Stieglitz that got you into the top 10?

How about Glen Johnson? Was it his win over Allan Green

In fairness I think I have been a bit hard on Ward. He is getting a bit of the old "flavour of the month" treatment by some posters on here and I was trying to hold off on that.

However one of my criteria for listing fighters here is how well they cleared out a division. I was having a similar debate after Ward won the Super 6 and said that if Ward beat Bute he should get into the top 5. As it turns out he didn't need to as Froch did. It for him. When you add it his impressive win over Dawson I have decided to raise him from number 6 to number 4, dropping Jones Jr to 5 and Toney to 6.

Froch's domination over Bute too he swapped places with Collins (who fought Benn and Eubank at the right time and ducked Calzaghe) so Froch now 7th, Collins 8th.

As has Eubank for me (Calzaghe, Benn and Collins) and is 1-3-1 against them!

0-3-1 at Super Middleweight (his 1st win over Benn was at 160)

What a boring division. The top ten fighting against a master class opponent and not one KO? Sucks. Supermiddleweight is a dumb idea anyways. Eat a cheeseburger and fight a light heavy.

I give credit to Kessler because he was fighting Calzaghe in Wales and Ward in Oakland.
He is the only one whom have faced both Calzaghe and Ward on their home soil.
Those 2 is the top dogs in almost every list in here!

If you lose but have done a good/great preformence I'll give any fighter credit for that and some fighters have got a boost by that to!

    Nope!

Don King wanted to tie Roy to a three fight contract, and Roy said no. He wanted just a one fight deal, and when Don wouldn't back down, the negotiations broke down.

Chris Eubank has said numerous times, that he was happy defending his belt at home on Sky, and had no interest whatsoever of fighting big names like Roy, in the U.S.
