As a neutral fan, it was a great experience. When dragons were up by 14 or so and cruising, I hoped that Melbourne would get back into the game so the crowd would get noisy. We all know how that panned out.:yep
**** this is classic pwnage. Good work especially the Suburb that he despises bit. Welcome back :good.
99 was great. Thanks to my man Mundine. Have yet to see someone KO'ed like that. You could just see Smith go lights out and drop like a sack of potatoes. Whatever you want to say about Harrigan, he makes the tough calls. The penalty try call would have made him the most unpopular person in NSW. Melbourne is the stuff where dreams are made. Craig Smith plays the whole year at Brisbane North and wins a premiership ring. Then straight back to obscurity for the rest of his career.
:fire **** Mundine in the 99 Grandfinal.:fire Oh and your man Mundine is a 5ouFFs man now. This content is protected :hi:
He was a Souths fan then also. Why else would he inexplicable throw the ball away when over the line, other than to stick one up one of the red and greens biggest rivals. :yep
I was sitting near the corner where that penalty try took place, and the immediate crowd noise was deafening, mainly from St.Merge fans thinking that Ainscough made a premiership winning tackle, yet all he did make the task much simpler for the goal kicker.
Weggie and the boys at the Hutch hated it when Russell made his mate Mundine the Aboriginal Liason Officer.
Only in this country. Ra Ra is probably 10 times bigger than both put together in places like Japan :deal
Despite investing heavily in union, it still gains little popularity in Japan. It's watched by some in places like Kobe, but other than that, it's all baseball, then soccer. Whatever News Ltd are blowing by propping up the Storm, the Japanese are doing far worse with their investment in rugby. I guess they can afford to though.
Bull****... the contracts are big but nobody cares about rugby over there... when i went i asked a whole bunch if we could go to a game and they laughed and told me to watch baseball and only country people watch rugby
So now the media pretty much says that if you play rugby league you cannot party. No matter if it's in an underground bunker, in the outback, the media will be there to report on you urinating......
