You mean rugby union in Japan is ten times bigger than rugby league in Japan? Probably, but so what. Rugby union is an anachronism that has only been kept alive in most countries by the public school systems. It's like Royal Tennis. Eventually it will fade out and die away.
no broncos in aussie side. lots of indigenous aussies in the broncos. the side has 2 (?) pacific islanders though... http://www.news.com.au/sport/nrl/ka...without-a-bronco/story-fndujljl-1226486398519 fair dinkum. where does all this stop. fijians playing for qld. kiwis playing for nsw. indians own PI business followed closely by chinese.....:-(
you'd be surprised at how many countries are playing League at some level now, its actually growing pretty well
How the **** did that useless Williams get picked for the Kangaroos?? And why pick Farah on the bench, they could have picked a far better utility player who can cover more positions
With the exception of Cameron Smith, Farrah is the best hooker out there. I'm assuming you mean a more impact player, and in that instance, I'd agree a better utility could have been utilised.
theres no need to pick a second specialist hooker( stupid term these days but....) with Smith in the team, even Bowen would have been better, can play more positions & take over dummy half
2% over there is way more than the combined AFL/NRL over here and that's only one country, I better not include one more Country like say...France :hi:
To be honest Williams was not used correctly, he should have been doing 50 mins for Manly instead of the full 80. He had a pretty good season and one only needs to look back to last years internationals to see the damage the fella did.
80% of his playing time this season he was very good I thought, that's probably what got him the spot. Him back under Hasler in that Doggies Squad is going to be trouble for the rest of the comp next year.
Because his team won the 2012 GF (and traditionally the team who wins the GF has more representatives in the national squad than other teams)...oh wait...
