yeah Calzaghe's power would be too much hahaha nice trolling.

Froch's power, Dawsons power, AA's power, Mirandas power was no proble but slappy joe's oh **** watch out!

Ward is quickly making Calzaghe a distant memory. I even been noticing a lot of brit posters recognizing that Ward has already eclipsed what Calzaghe has done 10 years earlier than Joe did. Already has a better resume and has far better form and technical ability. Joe was faster, that's it.

He brings up old B-Hop and old shot to absolute **** RJJ when in fact he barely scraped by B-Hop and many had him losing also both B-Hop and RJJ scored their first KD's in eons in those fights proving that Joe's chin wasn't that great at all. Joe's best win is Kessler who Ward beat with far greater ease. Ward beats Joe 10/10

It doesn't matter that he ended up fighting Hopkins who'd beaten Tarver.

In 2004, Joe didn't want to fight Tarver. He said he wanted big name fights, and he wanted to move up to 175, as it was getting harder and harder for him to make 168. He said that he was confident of taking his speed up and he was looking for a challenge.

So when he made this public, it was obvious that Tarver's name was going to get brought up, because he'd just knocked out Roy.

But when reporters asked him about a potential fight with Tarver, he instantly dismissed Tarver and the fight.

He said he had no intentions of fighting Tarver, because he didn't rate him at all. He said Tarver had done nothing, apart from knocking out a shot Roy Jones. I'll try and find you a link if possible.

Now after Joe had dismissed Tarver, he decided to stay at 168, to fight Ashira, Veit and Salem. And that basically sums up his career. He talked the talk, but never backed it up.

He always wanted big pay days, etc, but he didn't nothing pro active to get one.

He wouldn't move up in weight, or go to America, until he was 36 in 2008.

In his farewell fight, he beat Roy, after saying in 2004, that Tarver had beaten a shot version of him. He also dismissed Roy as a challenge early in 2008 too.

    The guy was a joke!

Have you dropped some weights on your head at the gym?

Ha! Your posts get dafter each time you log on.

    A blown up SMW?

Who told the whole world for the last 5 years of his career, that he had to starve himself and kill himself in the welsh mountains to make 168.

Who said to everyone he'd be happy to move up to 175.

Who also said, he'd had great camps for Roy and Bernard, because he ate better and felt stronger. Ha!

He ****ed up Bernards world? Oh right.

    Calzaghe ruined Bika? Ha!

Get the **** out of here you clown!

Calzaghe was never a thing to begin with. Only 4 net trolls seem to support him and constantly bring up useless information about him. He came, retired and no one gave a ****.

Roy was 9 weeks from his 40th birthday.

It doesn't matter that Joe was 36. It's not relevant.

What's relevant is, Roy had been knocked out twice over four years earlier by Johnson and Tarver.

    Also,

in 2004, Joe didn't want to face Tarver, because in Joe's words "Tarver's done nothing apart from beat a shot Roy Jones."

in 2007, Joe said "A fight with Roy at this stage, would be pointless. He was a great fighter, but he's not anymore. He's never been the same since Tarver and Johnson knocked him out."

    In 2008,

    [ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AWDtzdAYTOA&feature=player_embedded[/ame]

    Go to 6:35
"Roy Jones is past his best."

"Would you see that as a let down to fight Jones as your last fight?"
    "Yeah.Probably."

"Roy Jones was a great fighter, but he is not a great fighter anymore"

The above is just plain embarrassing! After what Joe had said on 3 seperate occasions, it wouldn't have mattered if Joe had've been 26, 36 or a 106!

Guys like you tall claim that Roy was roiding all of his career until 2000. But he didn't get beat til 2004. So he did ok without his Christopher Reeve tablets for 4 years. So why was that then?

You think dropping from 199 pounds to 175 at nearly 34, after 50 fights, isn't going to have any effect? Especially when it was rushed, without expert advice, and he'd never done it before?

Roy beat better fighters than Glen Johnson in his career. And after Glen beat Roy, he went on to lose to Clinton Woods. But you think the weight loss was just a poor excuse? He barely lost a round pre Ruiz, but afterwards, he lost to Johnson, but it was just an excuse and it didn't have any effect? Really?

    Regards, Loudon.

One guy by the name assisin is an obsessive lunatic. He gives decent Joe fans a bad name and isn't even aware of it.

    Hi Loudon

I agree that Roy beat fighters, but styles make fights. Also, the last time Jones beat a better fighter than Johnson was against Tarver, and before that it was 10 years earlier against Toney! Fighting Tarver and Johnson over 3 fights would have been tough for Roy at anytime in his career, and you can't just write off the losses to age and weight, I don't that gives Glen Johnson or Antonio Tarver the credit they deserve.

The Calzaghe crusade wont be happy with that video. There's just no argument for the relevence of the Jones fight when Calzaghe even says it himself.

I see a lot of ad hominem due to NO substance.:patsch

Joe had to say he was starving himself, or who at SMW, his natural weight would dare face him? they were petrified already, if he said it was his optimum weight, jesus, he would have been 30 and 0 and not 46-0.:patsch

PR isn't a strong suit for you... what boxer, who blows himself up in weight, then says he feels bad? of course he will say that when he tore up Hop and Jones, doesn't change the fact he was a blown up, semi-retired brittle boned Joe that ****ed up two American legends.

Tarver? haha Tarver? come on, Eric harding tapped that ass ffs, and who the **** is that? then journeyman gatekeeper Johnson also tapped his ass, Tarver was like Dawson, an Ameribum hypejob, a name only because he was a black American. Green Hopkins destroyed Tarver, shot Joe destroyed prime Hopkins, work it out.:patsch

Bet you're pissed that Boone beat your boy, and who has heard of Boone? :rofl:rofl

LOL @ people not understanding mind games and PR.

Joe dismissed Rjj for one reason, to get under Jones skin, and make him train harder and want to win more than ever, so Joe knew Rjj would accept the fight, and the very best Rjj would show up, and that's what happened. Semi Retired Joe made a mockery of him, and the rest is history.

It's hilarious how idiotic Rojo's are and have no concept of manipulation:rofl:rofl:rofl
