chris didnt have a great amount of skill, but to call him average is not fair. maybe he wasnt that skilled gonig forward, but he was extremely tough, granite chinned, good defensively and could hit hard too. This made him quite exciting to watch, since he frequently let his opponent batter away at him until he spotted an opening and fired back hard when they slowed. Eubank was a very decent package, though its hard to see how that beats RJJ.

He didn't say that in this interview. Typically, successful athletes have a lot of confidence. I'm sure that in his mind he thinks he was capable of competing against anybody in the world.
