The sad thing is he would get in the ring with them tomorrow if he could. Hopefully with making these noises he's starting to waken up to the fact fish eyes is holding him back.

Don't doubt for a minute Burns would love a crack at the winner, it's whether Frank wants it though ...

  7. Broner.

It's not like there's a question he beats Demarco

****ing hell Phil get off Broner's ball sack.. He's been beat twice arguably.. Outboxed by Ponce De Leon (The Featherweight) DeMarco will destroy this 100% pure hype job. He's actually ****. And fat.

:huh I'd say at the least its plausible that DeMarco stands a solid chance in this fight.

As for Burns vs. the winner, I'm sure VVarren sees the real potential of that fight, especially if Broner takes it.

Harrison for me should be no more than a warm up fight, not a mega-event to rip off the Scottish public.

Burns was killing himself to make the weight in that division, he did the right thing in pulling out, now they're both at their correct respective weights i can see this one happening next year, can't pick a winner as yet (assuming Broner beats demarco)

    My good men...

Look. I know its the 'in' thing to have a go at 'ole fishbreath for anything and everything here, but it has to be said, hes been brilliant for Ricky Burns.
Got Ricky a shot at Martinez for the world title in his hometown aswell, when Burns wasnt given a snowball in hells chances of winning by most.

The fishmeister saw something in Burns though, took the gamble & Rickys reputation has went stratospheric since. Would another promoter in Britain got Ricky to where he is today? I doubt it.

So a bit of patience fellas, fishfingers has delivered bigtime for Ricky before, & if Ricky comes through a tricky encounter with inexperienced but unbeaten confidenced Walsh, Im sure uncle fishcake will throw the rickster in at the deep end once more, cos he knows that boy can swim:deal

  13. Are, the old "he was killing himself" but he only decided that when broner came a calling, unfortunately though broner followed him up, there is no escape.

Broner will stop burns late, while pops brushes his hair between rounds

aah, the brit ESB love in with this poseur Broner is still alive & well I see:lol:

I havent watched a full fight featuring this guy yet, his resume just doesnt excite me enough to want to analyze him. However, I know I will have to watch some full fights of his soon, cos hes so 'down with the kids' in a boxing sense, with posters here gettin all excited about his hair getting combed & his gangsta talk on twitter that I will have to watch the ****, just to see if he really is Floyd re-incarnate...

Without having analyzed the guy though, Im already sure that Burns has the engine to outlast Broner. Ricky is an athlete, who doesnt cut corners, unless you count a big tasty meal after he beat Mitchell as 'letting his hair down'
Look at Mitchell, came in to fight Ricky in the shape of his life, but after a round you could see the difference in a guy who lives the life 24/7, vs a guy who trains like a demon for 12 weeks.

Its those small differences, & Broner seems to be a guy who doesnt live the life between fights. natural talent will take you so far, but Burns is a superfit fighter.

Can Broner live with the pace Burns will set? Im asking myself that question too btw! Cos as I admit, I have only watched clips of Broner.
