Lewis was clearly a credit to the sport and a thoroughly decent champion but he could occasionally comes across like a ***** a'la the post Vitali interview with Larry Merchant.

For me Lamon Brewster takes the cake as the most humble and liekable. Seems like an awesome guy!

If that's what's actually being asked, then it's just a stupid question. How many heavyweight CHAMPIONS have there been in the last 20 years? More than almost any other weight class, but still not that many, and several of them were right twats.

Here's a question then....who is the most humble, likeable cruiserweight champion of the last 20 years?

You can't say lewis ducked prime Tyson. Lewis wasn't even a professional when Tyson was at his best. By the time Lewis was ready Tyson was locked up. As I remember it once he was out of jail it was mike doing the ducking.

I prefer Tyson out of the 2 but it was not the fault of Lewis that he never met him in his prime. Or even close to it.

    James "Bonecrusher" Smith.

Funny guy...first HW champ in History with a college degree (maybe Tunney had a degree too?).

LL very likable, but from vids i've seen....far from humble...down to earth but still arrogant
that said, he talked the talk and walked the walk

Someone mentioned Brewster, yes.....hell I'd say Byrd and Sanders too! Humble, likable

What about Holmes?(lil farther back than 20) Bruno? Holy?
    Today it's definitely Wlad

lewis wasn't likeable and he was reserved rather than really humble. however, his comp was soo good compared to klitchko2's, i miss his reign in comparison. he did duck a vitaly rematch but that's totally excusable cuz of his age and his win and many good fights and long career(even though lewis was his same annoying self in acting like he wasn't ducking him). i too wish he would've been "ready" in the late 80's so he and tyson could've scrapped but you can't really hold that against him. also, wish he would've fought byrd in the very early 2000's as i'm pretty sure lewis would've made byrd go away sooner (byrd was tricky but i never cared for his style)

Can't believe Holmes got a shout  Dude was a ****. An ATG **** and boxer.

Wlad would probably get my vote. Dude is hilarious too.

People have short memory. Back in the day Lewis was criticised for boring reign in shitty hw division

Ducked Vitali, Ruiz, Byrd and its unclear what happened with him and Bowe

Could be argued he ducked Tyson when he came back ... he was trying to make ridiculous negotiations after being KTFO by McCall

ROFLMAO lets put this guy straight

1.... Lennox TKO 6 over vitali when barely 80% fit

    2....Ruiz ROFL Lennox KO 1

    3....Byrd see #2

4....Bowe Bowe was scared shitless of Lennox. I asked Rock Newman why Bowe renaged on Lennox his reply was " why risk everything against Lewis while people will buy Dokes & Ferguson

5... Tyson ducked Lewis Don King paid Lennox $4 mil to step aside & let Tyson fight Holyfield promising he'd be next Evander screwed that up by Ko ing Tyson

    Lennox ducked NO ONE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    100% this.

    If titlists count.

Lennox was more of a shut in "*****", he's the best but not the most humble.
