Its not Martinez fault that Jr. didnt take the fight seriously...He should have thought about that when he doing what he's done during training camp...Sorry that excuse dont fly around here...He's a professional fighter and he should have been a professional during training camp instead of getting side tracked like you're trying to make it out to be...He knew what he getting into and these type of excuses just wont cut it.

 

Not an excuses its the truth. :deal He was chillin all training camp and still put Sergio on his ass. Imagine whats going to happen when he actually trains.

Martinez was too quick for jr, it's not like jr wasn't trying. Martinez would land his shots and be gone before jr could even think about pulling the trigger. He was only able to get the knockdown because Martinez was fighting toe to toe with him. And what happened when he did get the knockdown? Martinez still stood toe to toe and fought the kid off, he had plenty of time to get the finish but couldn't.

The rematch only makes since $$ wise, why they would send jr to get beat up another one sided 12 rounds is beyond me. Do his people really believe the kid can win, or are they just turing the hype machine and counting the money they haven't made off the fight yet.

 

I'll be glad when this rematch is done and over with, leaving Jr. completely irrelevant as he should be. Then maybe Sr. will move his focus where it should be on Omar, the real fighting pride of the Chavez name.
