I think the word you are looking for is insight. Hearing rumours in the gym is not 'how boxing works'. If it was, boxing journo's would always have the scoop. Also remember tha there are members of the forum who have a whole lot more expereience in and around the ring than you. There are ex-ams, ex-pros, managers and promoters. There are also people like me who just wake up at ridiculous hours to scream at the telly when a good fight is on. The things that will make it fun here are to have a good sense of humour and to not be too full of yourself.
