they tried to get a fight with him before they signed with marquz.

if floyd came out and said he'll fight manny,i'm sure theyll move things around

 

at the moment you are 100% correct but floyd isent not interested in manny .. he isent even interested in boxing. he hasent said ANYTHING about stepping back into the ring

to say he was never interested is a flat out lie considering late 2011 and early 2012 he went life and death trying to get manny to fight him jumping through the numerous hoops of roadblocks bob arum put up

Floyd is retired until winter 2013. He'll fight somebody who his fans will pay for and then probably defend once or twice and retire "on top."

Pacquiao is not set in stone for April 20; it's only security by Arum and Top Rank to keep Bradley hot (or to force a Peterson fight).

couldn't you apply that same logic to Floyd setting the date of his next fight back in May 2012? wouldn't that mean that Mayweather had no intentions whatsoever of sitting down with representatives of Pacquiao to earnestly negotiate a mega-fight?

It's the same ****ing thing! If Pac has already signed to fight on April 20, then you're right, he has no intention of fighting Floyd on that date.

Same way Floyd had no intention of fighting Pac on May 5th.

Pacquiao will fight this December and then 4 months later will fight again.
Atleast Pacquiao likes to fight and stays active, already 61 Fights in his resume which is pretty impressive from Todays standards.

 

And let me guess, his options for April will be Marquez/Pac 5, Bradley/Pac 2 or Cotto/Pac 2 @150? :huh
