No Bowe does not have a better resume than Wlad, that's ridiculous. He won 2 & lost 1 to Holyfield. The rest of his resumé includes ducking every fighter that mattered at the time including Lewis. He even dumped a belt to avoid Lennox............His resumé also includes getting his ass kicked by Golota TWICE LOL  :rofl :yep

why do i need to convince myself? LL got KTFO by Rahman, by your logic the fight would have been the same the 2nd time around.

anyways, thought i could have a decent discussenion but the mentality of "it happened once... it will always happen" doesn't create much room for rebutle.

i dont think bowe was scared of lewis, however i think rock newman was and bowe was as thick as pig**** and listened to whatever he said, resulting in the belt going into the bin.

bowe was also, after a couple of defences, incredibly lazy and ate him self up near 300lbs, and then weight drained back down, i think this resulted in his short career, he was slurring his words by the time he fought holyfield for the 3rd time.

bowe in him prime, against holyfield/ferguson would be competitive against anyone, he had all the attributes needed. i also think that if he fought lewis right after the 1st holyfield fight, he would beat lewis, a prime bowe vs a green lewis who get ko'd by mccall, its obvius bowe would win.

also people shouldnt judge bowe by the golota fights, he was weight drained and brain damaged, and its clear on the post fight interviews and even when he is fighting t=in the second fight, he falls over nearly after every punch.

eddie futch also said that bowe had the potential/talent to be the best heavyweight he ever had, and that includes:frazier, norton, holmes. so he must of been more that a hypejob. holyfield also said bowe hit him harder than anyone

unfortunatly, riddick was very unintellegent and loved his food, and wasted his career and unforilled his potentioal.

back on topic, riddick bowes stamina was great for a big guy, as well as his speed and combinations, he out works wladimir and is able to connect on the inside, bowe by ko

As much as i like Wlad, I agree with you... i would favor a motivate Bowe over almost anyone... the only thing i can't say for sure is how he would have handled a tight defensive fighter who punchs like a mual... he fought Holyfiled in a war but holyfield was a cruiser weight who likely doesn't punch as hard as wlad and isn't defensive.

tbh all youneed to beat Wlad is a good reach and a hard punch, then hes ****ed.

nevermind all these other HW champs, just pick any good HW from the 90s in their prime with those attributes.

Even little guys like tyson are in danger of tearing him up.

not saying he was but he started there, he was an awesome heavyweight and had solid power even when moving up. Logically speaking i still believe his power isn't the same as Wlad's power.

Exactly WHO has Wlad beaten to suggest that his resume is better than Bowe's?

Seeing as Lamon's retired and Corrie's dead, I hope it'd be a different story.
