    Now, I'm not sure, but I believe an Azumah Nelson is what you call one of those hiccups that gets all meshed up with a cough and leads to a slight choking sensation.

    For example:

    "You seen Bill today, man? Dude had a nasty case of the Azumah Nelsons this morning. He died."
