Haye didn't clean out the CW division. He had two good wins, Mac and Mormeck. That's it.

In 24 fights Haye won WBC WBA WBO Ring CW titles and the WBA HW title, often away.
In Admeks 24th fight he E Dalton :nut

But lets go back and compare like for like

In only Hayes 11th fight he took on a world rated former CW champion who was a far harder puncher than most CWs and a far harder puncher than Adamek. Yes he lost but who did Adamek fight in his 11th fight that was as good?
In Adameks 11th fight he fought R Lupo

In Hayes 15th fight he beat 38-4-1 European CW champ Gurov
In Adameks 15th fight he was fighting a fighter having his debut fight

In Hayes 18th fight he was beating undefeated future CW world champ Fragomeni
In Adameks 18th fight he beat 6-1 fighter atsch

In Hayes 20th fight he fought 37-1 HW Bonin
In Adameks 20th fight he fought 3-4-0 Davtyan :rofl

In Hayes 21st fight he became the man at CW, winning away, and beating the top CW champion
In Adameks 21st fight he beat A Karsten

In Hayes 22nd fight, he was unifing the CW title

Not sure on this fight, i do have my biases

I think most would think Haye KO's him

I dont know if im so sure of this

Haye does KO lots of guys he faces, Adamek though has only been stopped once, and that was to the big and dominant Vitali who held many advantages over him

I think these fighters styles mesh extremely well because they are very different

Haye has lots of power and moves around the ring searching for his bombs can be a boring runner at times but can also be very dangerous and hard to hit, my biggest issue with him is his low work rate

Adamek does not have great heavyweight power he can hurt guys in accumulation and has fast combinations but he isnt going to put out the lights on anybody in 1 shot. He has a tough chin and a big heart but he has been stunned in several fights and has struggled with guys who can box like Estrada and Chambers

I think the fight could play out like Ruiz, Adamek comes in looking to fight Haye moves away, Adamek walks into right hands all night and gets stopped

Or, Adamek brings it to him and is able to corner him and get inside, make it rough and tough, Haye is forced to fight on Adameks terms gets out worked due to his poor work rate and loses an exciting and controversial decision

Or finally, Haye stands in the pocket like he did vs Chisora (something that really surprised me) and makes a real fight out of it and then its any mans game

wild card result could always be Haye catches and stops him immediately but it doubt it

Adamek is very slow and flat-footed. He has no defence.

He is a decent fighter but he would get an absolute hiding from David Haye.

Haye is very fast and very powerful. Adamek doesn't even have power. The Pole has nothing to trouble Haye.

I would like to see the fight and it would be a big seller in the UK.

 

It took Adamek 5 fights to win the CW title it took 21 for Haye:hey

MANY UPON MANY top notch fighters did not fight for a title until they were near 30 fights.

You have only proven 1 thing,...the CW division has far less fighters competing when compared to other weight classes therfore you can get to a title a lot quicker.

 

It is fair to say that Adamek has more power than SMW Lolenga Mock and his 30% KO ratio.:good

Haye is sloppy and would pay for his amateur level fight style.

Adamek has a better CW resume, Gaye has a slightly better HW resume. Gaye only has like one good win at CW, I don't know why the brits on this forum are so impressed with Gayes stint at CW.
