Hopefully dispatching this tomato can, he can have the winner of Cloud v Pascal, or perhaps the shell of Bad Chad Jawson.

Cleverly to rule the LHW division as Calazghe did.

    go 4 it Clevz!

he has a fair chance of defending the wboo title for 9 years if he keeps focused, but its not as easy to do as in Calzaghes time so be doubly careful who you pick, Nath.

I'm embarrassed that this guy is going to be touted as the next best thing from these shores. I hope he loses his title on his debut over there.

He will need to do a Calzaghe to stay top for 9 years! Roll out the Rick Thornberrys and Veits pronto!

The Americans are getting deja vu from the last time an undefeated welsh world champion came to their shores and cleared up

I still think a fit and healthy Chad at 175 would have more than enough to see off "The Joke" comfortably.
Much as I dislike Clev,I don't think he's a **** fighter and would be in with a chance against a battle worn Pascal.

Cleaned up took the money and retired 46-0 after destroying two USA legends in their back yard....lol

Cleverly is an exciting fighter. I dont see what the problem is. Its hard for him to get fights and he isn't fully to blame for that. Hopkins wants no part of him. Shumenov and Cloud are not known by casual fans. Besides Dawson who sholud he be fighting? Uzelkov is no can and should be a good fight. The weak division is to blame, not Cleverly.

I want to see the Shumenov fight dam it!

When Clev beat Mcintosh and Beibut lost to Campillo first time round Ive wanted to see it since then! but still nothing!

Im welsh myself but Cleverly hasnt been fighting anyone noteworthy since Murat and Bellew

    Lets point out the fact

Shumenov backed out of fighting Cleverly, thats why Cleverly isnt fighting him next.
The fight was to be in America, but Shumenovs team couldnt get a date, so Cleverlys promoter offered them the fight in the UK and they backed out. It was in Boxing News a few weeks back.
Also Froch and Hopkins were not interested.

    Cleverly is already being avoided.

Shumenov backed out, it was offered to him for this fight in America, but his team couldnt get a TV date, so Cleverlys team offered the fight in the UK and the didnt want it.
Its not Cleverlys fault if Shumenov, Froch and Hopkins are not interested. I dont blame Froch as he has a world title in another division to think of and a big money Bute rematch in place for next year, but the other 2 :-(

No the Americans are like he at least isn't making excuses about being afraid to fly unlike another fighter from Wales who waited 10 + YRS to challenge himself:good

I have no idea what fighter you're referring to. But it sounds like Cleverly's US debut is already making you uncomfortable. If feather fisted Ward could hurt Dawson like that, imagine what a legit, power punching LHW like Clev could do! :good
