How much better would Mayweather-Cotto had been at WW (2008)?

    Yeah I did say that.. But it doesn't change the fact that it was just 2 oz of gloves.. :D

    When I'm in the gym I don't give a f*ck of whether we use 8 or 12 oz of gloves in sparring or even heavier.. Besides, in TKD we spar with no body gears, head gears or any protective gears while giving our best shots.. :smoke

    I see Cotto(e) being more aggressive, which may make it a more competitive fight, and *getting hurt more.

    *1) Because he's opening himself up by being aggressive.
    2) 2008 Cotto(e) was loaded with technical flaws
    3) Floyd still would have been in his prime

    Cotto without the large weight advantage and the 10 ounce gloves would've got KTFO.

    Fight would have been just as entertaining as their actual fight. But, Floyd would beat him worse. TKO is very possible. Cotto's defense was worse back then and he would open up more. Floyd would move more.

    exactly. floyd went on vacation when talks of fighting cotto back then surfaced. floyd even fielded some excuse like cotto is not a draw.

    2008 Cotto tired too much in the late rounds. 2012 Cotto is much better in that regard.
