Cleverly to make his US debut in his next bout

Clev is no fool, he wont be wreckless against a competitive opponent. His arms were going off like pistons against the nurse cos he was no threat. He has exciting fights and isn't afraid to brawl. Whats not to like.

Frank will be talking about Clev taking on the big names for the next 2-3 years before he gets remotely close to anyone with a pulse. That's my prediction, if I'm wrong so be it.

 

I don't dislike him at all. Not in the slightest - seems like a great guy and he's fun to watch. But I know how he fights and I know that ****** really doesn't have anyone who brings in the money at the moment. He'll protect Clev like his last testicle.

 

What does this prove in the grand scheme of things? Boxing is full of strange and inconsistent triangle theories.

Shumenov OR dAWSON have the makings to be a great match-up. It has to happen some time or later.

Cleverly is someone who will leave egg on the faces of so many ignorant posters on here. He's way better than people realise.

 

My point is it doesn't matter how good he is. ****** won't match him with anyone good

 

Also, having watched the majority of his fights he is waiting to be ko'd by a better level of fighter.

 

I think he has the type of ambition that he would be prepared to get rid of ****** if he was standing in the way of him progressing.

I know what your saying about his defence pal and i've wanted him to get rid of his dad as trainer but I think his high output will cause a shitload of problems for anybody he faces. He does need to tighten up, I just think he's got that spirit, determination and workrate where he will find a way to win against the big names.
