Brook slick defensive skills? he obviously hasn't watched his last fight.

At least Flannigan doesn't have to fight his friend/mentor. :conf

Slick enough to only get hit with about 35% of Carson Jones' punches!

Nope. Flannigan vs. Sykes is next for the Betfair Prizefighter Championship, then Fielding vs. Dilks...I think. :huh

It will be hilarious if Purdy beats Jones.

I thought the 10 rounder (wich I don't think will go the distance) is sceduled to give the finalists some rest.

I could be wrong (although that rarely happens)

Maybe that's how they've done it before, but they're pushing ahead with the tourney final now.

    Round 1

Flannigan puts the right jab out and stretches a tentative left cross to the chin of Sykes. Left hook by Sykes, trying to turn in time but getting peppered with combos from mid-range as Flannigan keeps up constant movement. Sykes is landing one shot at a time, few and far between, either a single jab or a left hook as Flannigan navigates around him up on his toes. 1-2 falling in by Flannigan. Tie up.

    10-9 Flannigan

19-19, very close round, just gave it to Sykes by a mm.

    Round 2

Flannigan pushes himself forward off his heels and trying to tackle Sykes to the ropes but getting a hole dug in his body. Sykes is landing lots of shots up close and forcing Flannigan to flop against him and hold. Flannigan is slugging it out on the inside, then kicks his legs back to reset and draws the bowstring on a long right jab. Sykes keeps pulling him closer and thumping the body. Flannigan is beginning to wince as Sykes keeps laying hands on him. Flannigan darts in and out, not punching. Long right jab on the way in by Flannigan, missing before getting held and rag-dolled. Sykes tries a few wild punches inside and nearly falls, spinning himself out of alignment. More body shots by Sykes. Clinch.

    10-9 Sykes

    19-19
