Loads of offensive firepower and **** defense with a suspect chin....they both ditched freddy roach too....i dont think that linares beats anyone at 135 and ill even say ricky burns would beat him....khan can win at 140 because he usually has a reach and height advantage versus most opponents i think virgil will help him to that extent...but once a monster gets in the ring aka lucas matthysse, rios, berto, etc its game over

Perhaps, Khan faster hands, Linares better defense.

But both never resist a rumble and paid for it dearly with their soft beards.

Linares looked so crisp in the first couple rounds against Demarco, don't know what happened.

  5. Linares is an excellent boxer, highly skilled. But he's cursed with paper skin. He was schooling DeMarco.

    your typical roach fighters.

in and out movement with wild volume punching combinations. no inside fighting, defense, or solid fundamentals. all flash.

shooling demarco? hell no. everything went according to plan. he got broken down and stopped late. it wasnt a surprise one punch knock out. his speed and style got adjusted to.

Linares has better head and upper body movement. He likes to roll with punches or evade them rather than block them. His overall movements are smoother and more fluid, and you often see him swaying and ducking.

Khan is more of a stiff, upright fighter, who relies on the high guard. When he sees shots coming he shells up and tries to weather the storm before attacking again.

They both have problems taking a punch but I don't think they're similar at all in their fighting style, maybe apart from not having much of (in Amir's case *any*) inside game.

Linares' footwork is far ahead of Khan's - and his counter-punching prowess is as well.

Linares foodwork is his worst attribute , terrible foot movement. Against Demarco he circled in one direction and put himself right in the trajectory of Demarco straight left hand. He got poped by that all night and never adjusted , or couldn't
