Mikkel Kessler is the best fighter Ward has fought

Kessler was a desperate broken man by round 8 when the clash of heads occured. The ring size of that fight was 18 sf that favoured Kessler as his only game plan was to pressure Ward to the ropes and try land somethig big. He attempted to walk Ward down round after round and took nothing only a battering for his efforts.
Anybody with boxing knowledge would see Kessler was completely clueless and had no idea how to handle Ward.
Kessler was on the backend of 3 knock out victories since Calzaghe and was favoured to win the super 6 at the time.

 

This was not a rusty shot Kessler. It was a prime Kessler who went on to beat an undefeated Froch.

 

I agree. At least to the extent that the version of Kessler that Ward fought, was an injured version suffering from doublevision so bad that he couldnt see as early as round 4 courtesy of the injury and a couple of smashing headbutts that somehow was ruled accidental clash of heads.

Kessler went on to beat Froch in a great fight, but everybody who has followed kesslers career could easily see that something was wrong. It was not the same fighter fighter of yesteryear. Gone was the precision but the heart was still there and with a perfect gameplan he was able to take the decision. Now we know that his rather unprecise effort and sloppy defense was due to the eye-injury that eventually forced him to pull out of a certain semifinal birth in the s6.

 

He has skill but lacks speed and is not that coordinated

 

He has some skill but not the athletic ability to make the most of those skills. I was surprised he beat Taylor

 

Your opinions on Froch especially are stupid and disrespectful IMO.
