What are the chances Floyd ends up like Roy Jones or Holyfield?

To say that there is no chance Floyd or Pacquiao ends up like them is delusional.

Neither Floyd or Pac are some sort of genius, they have not displayed anything in their personality /demeanour to show that they will not go down the path of Roy or Evander.

Before you say 'impossible' , it was far more unbelievable during the 90's for anyone to think that a decade later, Roy would have been knocked out 4 times and closing in on double digits in losses.

Nobody thought Evander was going to end up like this either.

Tyson was more believable because even than some people were predicating prison or death... So he actaully exceeded the expectations in some ways.

He almost certainly ends up broke, and I am a fan. Real is real. If a millionaire spends like a billionaire, he will go broke.

Three totally different indiviuals. Floyd will always have money because he knows who to keep outa his business, and when he's done with fighting himself, there will be plenty of things to keep him busy. He has some very intelligent people working for and with him.:bbb

He'll be broke and fighting in Atlanta as a Super Middleweight at the age of 45.

Maybe not career wise, but I could definitely see Mayweather going broke like Holyfield once his career is over.

I'm fairly sure Haymon is handling at least some of Floyd's money. He takes care of his fighters so well.

Pretty goddamn decent chance. One of the great ironies of Floyd is that for somebody calling himself "Money" he has no idea how to manage it.

I don't think he will be fighting in his 40's but I believe he will be totally broke by 40 or so.

For Floyd,I think there's more chance of Evander fighting Tyson for the undisputed HW title than there is of him ending up a punch-drunk bankrupt.
With Manny,I'm not so sure. All his drinking and ****ing whores along with the dip in his performances added to the fact that he wants to be a politician, which means plenty more ****ing whores and drinking.
I hope not though,he's not a bad bloke.

I say a good chance because of the crazy money he makes. At what point will he just say, "ok, i've made enough. I'm not interested in another 15-20 million dolllars." The incentive to fight on is so great.

I hope his spending slows down when he quits, or he at least makes a major amount of money, like 100-200m out of his remaining fights as I don't want to see any boxer end up fighting into their 40s.

What I see, is a lot of peopie hoping he goes broke but the man has a talent for making money and that can't be denied. Roy nor Holyfield came close to making the money Floyd has and they did'nt have the right people behind them when it came time for them to do something different. Hell, Oscar didnt go broke, He is no different or better than Floyd.:bbb

I don't hope he goes broke at all, but as an outsider looking in, his current spending habits have little chance of continuity. By the way, Holyfield made plenty of money.

He didn't make nearly as much as Floyd. One would have to know all of Floyds business to say if he is over spending. I dont have that knowledge but judging from how he handles his boxing affairs, I think that he's got it like that.He knows when to hold and when to fold.:bbb
