Ya really, so you've never heard of a bloke called Jeff Fenech...or Kostya Tszyu...or maybe because those guys were willing to travel overseas to fight for titles and therefore didn't have many fights in Australia in their latter careers, you don't think they put Aussie boxing (per se) on the map?

Lol, Did i say that? Fenech had retired years before that, Kostya was fighting very rarely, Aus boxing didn't have the excitement to the general public that it did when Choc came along.. there is no disputing that fact

theres no disputing mundine made a circus act out of aus boxing.

an act that haumono followed, bum finger followed, and bawwy hall nearly tried. the latest is SBW, who would make a lot of $$ if he fought full time.

mandy hasnt been good for boxing as a sport. he simply turned it into a circus act that has seen other footballers try to squeeze the public for a few dollars also using the same model.

the sooner the mundine circus ends, real boxers will then get more attention. ATM the public are still convinced his circus is the real thing. we know it isnt.

As much as you don't like it many real boxers have benefitted from the circus. Danny Green especially.

True good businessman. He has used the Mundine rivalry thing excellently. I actually inadvertantly stumbled upon another example of it before the Santiago fight. I might do a thread about it Im sure 1 poster will get excited by it I guaranty it.:yep

And many real undercard fighters had to sell circus tickets in order to get paid while the clowns at team Boxa were only looking after themselves. :patsch:-(
