Fair enough. Your entitled to your opinion and I'm not well versed enough in boxing to be able to argue. Still, I think you were rather harsh to Eubank when you said that he was only as good as Ravelo, Camou, Buchanan, Miranda or Pudwill, given the fact that none of them beat anyone the calibre or Benn or Watson.
I see folx under estimating Ward.....Ward would be very tough for anybody @ 168...he only going to get better. After Mayweather and Pac retire.....he the next P4P king!
None of that has anything to do with the style match-up. You can't pick a fight based soley on legacy. What kind of sense does that make?
Mike Watson, Ronnie Essett, Tony Thornton, Lindell Holmes, Nigel Benn, Rocky, Henry, Collins and Calzaghe were much better than Allan Green. 'Fact'.
True. Also Nigel Benn in their 2nd fight - his inside work was very impressive. And Rocchigiani, where he had such a high output Rocky couldn't drop his guard for a second hardly. And John Jarvis.-Timber!
Essett wasn't. The declined version of Lindell Holmes is debatable. And Eubank's wins at 160 are not relevant.
Essett seemed to be boxing poorly in the fight with Eubank, but he was always a very talented operator - I thought he was robbed against DeWitt and Galvano.
