I've never seen that fight but after years of comments on here, I really don't want to. This is coming from someone who has watched Hopkins vs Calzaghe several times hahaha.

Indeed. It was like a game of chess. Two grandmasters trying to outwit each other, a thing of beauty. This generation of Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder sufferers are obviously not able to enjoy anything that requires a concentration span of more than 5 seconds. But for the rest of us, this was certainly not a boring fight.

Jim Lamprey went full ****** and attempted to salvage Wlad's rep by comparing it to Lewis vs Zeijko. Lennox is too shitty of a public speaker/commentator to fire back with witty remarks, so all he did was say 'no it wasn't the same'.

The difference between Lewis vs Zeijko and Wlad vs Sultan is that Lewis was hitting Zeijko every round with multiple right hands and non stop combinations/uppercuts.. Zeijko was a human punching bag, it would have been more fun if Wlad did the same.

 

But Zeijko was granite chinned...
Ibragimov would have been killed.
