They all want eachother, although it's looking more like its gonna be Burns vs DeMarco/Broner winner, that's the one they're all calling for. Winner of that will probably face Vazquez. in a perfect world anyway...all we can do it hope and of course, lets not look past this december fight, hope there are no slipups
No chance IMO, Frank won't let Burns go to America, he'll have him fighting in Glasgow for the rest of his career.
I still think Abril is the most gettable top LW for Ricky. And although I'm of the opinion that Vasquez is #1,I have this funny feeling that he has a Linares-DeMarco style loss ahead of him.
Miguel Vasquez isn't that big of a name, so he might be willing to fight in the UK. It would be an interesting style match up, Vasquez has good skills.
Nah, Burns is too humble, he still works in JJB Sports for christ sakes If he wanted to leave for bigger fights he would've left after he was fed Laryea, Evensen and Cook.
he didnt have a big enough name to be able to do that at the time, and hes well aware of the **** he got for those fights, and didnt disagree with it, right now though hes one of the 3 top lightweights (Broner has to actually fight at the weight before being declared a top name) and every second word out of his mouth is unification, ring belt. The ring magazine said they'd like to have Burns fight for it, Broner says he wants Burns, Vazquez says he wants Burns, Burns says he wants any ****ing one of them, Frank ****** has even come out and said he will make Burns/Broner, that's how much people have been going on about it. Burns would give up his life savings for a shot at the big time, you can see it, I don't think he's gonna let his nice guy persona get in the way of his dreams, not in his current form.
With Broner fighting DeMarco next month how about Burns vs Vasquez in December with the winners meeting in March.
I hope you're right,but you have to consider the relationship Ricky has with Alex Morrison BB. I just can't see Ricky turning his back on him,and Alex is very close with F-WANK.
