Let's pretend there's some ******* out there that has a filmed copy of every fight ever contested in the history of the sport.

Which fight would you pay most to see, and how much would you pay to see it?

Give me a top 5 if you can be bothered.

I'll start with my no. 1 & 2: Kid Gavilan vs. Sugar Ray Robinson.

I'd say I'd give 5 grand for both.

Will have to think about some other fights I'd drop big cash for.

    What say you?

The most I can afford is about five grand.

    1. Venice Bus Station Vs Betulio Gonzalez
    2. Saensak Muangsurin Vs Monroe Brooks
    3. Escobar Vs Casanova
    4. Olivares Vs Rudkin
    5. Ernesto Marcel Vs Serrano/Hernandez/Gomez II/Nemoto

    I've omitted Greb. Too obvious.

Many will say Greb-Walker or Greb-Tunney. Gotta feeling they won't be satisfying watches myself.

I wouldn't pay funny money for anything, though some things are worth more than others. I'd maybe go as high as 1000, but that'd probably be where it stops...

Gilroy vs Sadd, Mills, Woodcock I, Shaw I & II, Hawkins, Cerdan & Cockell.

full fights or darn close, snippets or just hilights here and there much less.

I have no doubt Greb-Walker would be brilliant. Wasn't it the 2nd round one writer said might've been the greatest round? And in the 14th Greb beat the **** outta The Toy Bulldog.

Was the  just reserved for 'Bus Station'? ;)

$40 bucks tops. I don't understand peoples fascination with getting hustled for their hard earned money.

I'm just gonna use US minimum wage for example. US Federal minimum wage is at $7.25. If you adjusted for inflation it should be $12.

So assuming you worked at minimum wage. $40/$7.25 = 5.5 hours

Taking into account taxes you would have to bust your ass about 6-7 hours to afford an old fight that happened already. I'd rather go watch a live bouts for $25 or see some talent at the gym for free.

$1000 to $5000 for an old fight, that's just crazy

Now some of you make a lot more and it's cool to think about, but you still gotta consider the hours you work for that 1-5K
