If Manny will take the lead in negotiating, why the **** does he need Arum for?

 

pac doesn't have a manager (that takes 20-30% of the guaranteed purse) and he still needs a promoter who will give him a guaranteed purse and do the legwork in promoting the fight.

Loyalty went out the window when Arum showed pac what would happen if he didn't sign the extension. Pac lost immediately. That was a warning. Arum was showing pac his influence in the sport. He could make a win turn into a loss just like that.

What you guys dont understand is, Pac has a lot of responsibility back home unlike those 3. I dont think he can be arsed to go abouts learning and spending the time to promote his own fights when he probably has max 3 fights left, as well as running his province as a congressman, being a huge TV personality and running his businesses in the Philippines.

He's been with Arum for near the past decade, 1 more year to finish his boxing career with him isn't gonna make a difference.

The reason that the reason 50 and Floyd split had nothing to do with the Pacquiao fight. 50 didn't think Floyd had the Financial control and business mindset to run a business.
