Did calzaghes legacy increase or suffer for hopkins fight ?

    So when Joe Calzaghe 36 and a half , fights Hopkins just turned 43 to a sd that lots of people thought Hopkins won ,does that tarnish his legacy or increase it ? he got the w in a 50/50 fight but didnt it pretty much confirm in the minds of most fans that had they been the same age Hopkins would have won ?

    Obviously increased it. Without the Hopkins win Calzaghe's resume is paper thin. And Hopkins success since the Calzaghe fight proves he was still a live opponent.

    And Calzaghe's 'best win' Hopkins was beaten 3 times before Calzaghe 'beat' him at 43 years of age, what's your point? :hey
