I don't even like Joe and i got mad respect for froch but Joe beats any version of froch on any night. He might even stop froch with his volume and power and speed. Joe would war would froch but still be at low risk because he's much more skillful and technically better and physically better. Froch would be walking in to fast combo's from joe who could hurt froch and possible get a stoppage or froch's chin stands up and Joe outboxes and out brawls froch and dominates him all night.

Calzaghe to box circles around froch. 117-111 type decision

Ward had to neutralize Froch's attack by fighting him on the inside. He is too dangerous from mid to short range. Calzaghe isn't that good on the inside and hasn't the power to hurt him.

Calzaghe would make Froch look like the primitive swinging caveman that he is. I seriously doubt that Carl would even win a single round.

Hopkins' age is irrelevant. Calzaghe got put down by a professional athlete weighing close to 200lb. Besides, Joe only got put down because he squared up his feet, he wasn't even hurt.

I'm a far cry from a Calzaghe fan. Couldn't stand the guy.

Carl, on the other hand, has grown on me. Love his interviews, and always try to see his fights.

Slappy Joe would run circles around Froch, and slap poor Carl's ears off. The Cobra isn't fast enough, and doesn't move around well enough to keep up with Joe.

Joe has the power to hurt froch, froch has **** defense and a iron chin but letting Joe T-off on that chin for 12 rounds is a serious test for froch's chin. Calzaghe throws a lot more than anyone froch has faced. He would get hit a lot more and a cut wouldn't surprise me either. Joe's better than froch on the inside and he's elusive and too slick to get caught with combos from froch he has much better reflexes than froch. Froch would be struggling to hit Joe. Froch's low guard would be the death of him vs Joe.

exactly , all 4 punches that put Calzaghe down were punches he did`nt see due to being up close and with his guard up, and each he sprang straight back up and went back at em. Thats why calzaghe fought with his hands down.

Joe wouldn't have the resume to get a shot at Carl nowadays.
    Maybe a tune-up though.

lol but he thinks the froch of today beats any version of calzaghe :patsch

Forget about resumes lets look at skills and go from there, Froch and Ward are fortunate to have been in a era where there was a big tourney
