I scored it twice and came up with the same thing on both cards..119 to 111 Barrera!!!..So im a lil confused when poor decisions almost ruin great fights like this

I know many people who scored it for Morales as well. Controversial, but not a robbery by any means.

I had it for Barrera by two points, and as others have noted, while it was a bad decision it wasn't a horrible travesty. It was a hotly contested fight, give and take all the way. Yeah, the wrong guy got the call, but life is that way sometimes. Barrera got his day in the end, at the expense of Morales in their second fight which was also a bad call going the other way. It evens out in the end then, and makes this bit of history more palatable.

Both guys got away with one in this trilogy, which marks perhaps the only time any of us can recall when two wrongs actually DO make a right. It's all good.

Funny thing is while liking Morales slightly more than Barerra....I scored all three fights in Marco's favor. Close mind you, but I think MAB had a case for sweeping this trilogy.

remember this. was like 13 telling everyone in my class who would listen that Morales was the next big thing. Watched with my stepdad

Barrera did whatever he wanted whenever he wanted really. A great, great fight largely in thanks to Morales' spirit and ability. Anything less and Barrera would have had a KO win by the 7th round.

A man possessed that night he was, and the rightful event winner as he was written off until then as a large udnerdog.

Nobody was robbed of any decision, it was a razor close fight, you need to learn the sport.

And yes, its the best fight I`ve ever seen, fantastic fight between two ATGs in their primes.

Chacon v Limon 4 is in my top 5 or 6 fights ever, brilliant fight.... but Chacon v Boza-Edwards 2 is a little bit better IMO, that`s no2 on my best ever list.....

Morales v Barrera 1 is the best though.... IMO.

You need to watch it without commentary, seriously, turn that **** down & you`ll see a different fight.

I`ve watched this fight more than any other fight, its really difficult to score some of the rounds but my score is 7-5 Morales, a draw is robably the fairest result though because no superiority was shown by either man.

    Morales won rds... 3,4,5,6,7,9 & 10.
    Barrera won rds... 1,2,8,11 & 12.

Most rds were close & could have gone either way, I don`t mind this being scored to MAB but he never clearly won anything & nobody was anywhere near robbed, that`s a ****in insult to the brilliant erformance Morales put on, it really is.

    :rofl

Barrera has ZERO case for sweeping this trilogy, that`s comedy gold at its best.

Morales definitely won that second fight, it was the clearest win of the trilogy ruined by a disgraceful decision.
