The exact amount is unknown, but it was less than 31m. The wbc threaten to file for bankruptcy if he insisted on recieving that amount
Roccichiani wasn't the sharpest tool in the shed financially, that much is certain. He's an an admitted life-long alcoholic. I feel bad for him but life is (mostly) what you make out of it.
how can you feel sorry for someone who has blown more money in a few years than an normal guy would make if he worked till he was 200 years old.
He comes across as a very honest guy in his interviews, makes him likeable to me. He has to blame himself for the way he wasted his money, but you can't blame him for the circumstances he grew up under. Immigrant Italian family, alcoholic father, upbringing in a working class ghetto neighborhood. Not the ideal circumstances to develop financial acumen and a stable lifestyle, however other kids with the same background still did well in life. Rocciciani just wasn't one of them.
its all an act and i can tell he spent that money on big houses cars women and thinks he is some kind of sympathy case.
I read that as well. Unfortunately the book itself seems to be only available in German, so I can't check it out for myself. Either way Graciano got robbed in that fight
He was leagues above Glen Johnson or Clinton Woods. He beat Maske twice, Nunn, blew away Hamsho and beat the **** out of Michalczewski. He hardly ever took a head punch!
