In an ideal world how does Carl Froch's career end from here?

    Mack - Win
    Bute Rematch - Win
    Kessler Rematch - Win

That's how ideally I see his next 3 fights going but then after that what happens? He will be 36 by the time those 3 fights have happened.

Does he rematch Ward which lets face it he'd lose to again or does he move up to light heavy and fight one of the belt holders up there? Or does he have a big domestic fight against Groves or De Gale?

I would say Froch has a maximum of 5 fights left in him which would span 2/2.5 years from now.

Wouldn’t mind him making a nice few paydays for himself so I’d like to see a…

    Victory over Mack
    Victory over Bute
    Victory over Kessler

Then while in between fights start talking **** to DeGale, fight and beat DeGale and then fight Groves (they would have both beaten DeGale)

Providing all 3 carry on winning, it could be a nice earner for all. Or fight Clev.

I would like to see a Kessler rematch, which I think he would win, and maybe another go at Ward. I don't think he would win, but I'm sure he could he could give Ward a tough fight if given another go.

As for Bute, there must have been a clause in the contract or something, as this would be a pointless formality for Froch. He smashed him to pieces before and would do so again. Bute wouldn't be an improved fighter, he would just be denying Froch a decent challenge...

    Mack
    Bute
    Stevenson (mandatory)
    DeGale
Chavez (arguably would be his biggest payday and a big Vegas win would be a great way for Froch to go out)
