Hypothetically, in there next 2 fights:

Brook beats Salvida & Alexander/Bailey to become undefeated champion.

Khan beats Molina, & then perhaps Peterson/Garcia.

Is it as easy as 50:50 split?

Or could you argue that as Brook is the champion, & unbeaten, he deserves a 60/40 or 55/45 split. Also Khan has never fought at 147 so that goes against him to.

I can't see the split being anything other than 50/50, but I also can't see a justifiable reason to give Khan the bigger end of the purse.

    Thoughts?

No, Brook wouldn't have the right for more than 50-50 IMO. Realistically, if it's going to be billed as this big domestic grudge match, most of the publicitly will come off Khan's back. He is the one known by the general public, not Brook.

EDIT: I disagree with you that Khan could not feasibly get more than 50-50. If it happens and one of them does get the larger purse, I think it would be Khan before Brook.

Lol. If it happens, Brook wouldn't get the bigger steak. Also, I expect him to lose to the winner of Alexander/Bailey, so he'll definitely get less after that.

If they fought right now as it stands it's gotta be 50/50.

Khan is the bigger name, granted but he's coming off 2 losses one by knockout whilst Brook is undefeated.

    Would have to be 50/50

60/40 brook, but would give khan 50/50 to get him in ring, Amir Khan will avoid brook like the plague, as roach said to khan don't go near any fighter that can punch, brook would smash him to bits. and then it's back to demestic level for Khan.

Khan gets bigger cut unless Brook can bring a lot more to the table. Being a champion would help his claim in trying to get 50/50. Against khan is the fact, he is coming off tw losses and will need to look impressive in his comeback fights.

Their histories and career earning all favour Khan as the 'bigger' name. Khan is a household name even if unpopular with many, Brook is hardly known. IMO, brook should accept 60/40 and try get a good win against khan which would catapult his name in Britain at least.

All theory though at the moment, we need to see how their upcoming fights play along. Who knows if Brook looks impressive in America against an Alexander, that might change peoples opinions and might shoot him to stardom.

70-30 in Khan's favour. Much bigger name and far more proven, too. No way can a 50-50 split be argued.
