Once described as boxing's next star, David Lemieux, is looking to return to form after defeats to Rubio and Alcine. It's no secret Lemieux has shown a lack of dedication so hopefully he has prepared properly for this fight. He's still an exciting prospect, even if he isn't what some people made him out to be.

This is far from a gimme fight. The guy he's fighting has beaten every boxer he got in the ring with.

Hopefully Lemieux will try box a little and show a bit of ring intelligence.

Should be a fun fight while it lasts.

He has that canadian brand jaw though. I like the kid, but he's in the same boat as LuciANNE Pute.

This is what hype does. He got beat by Alcine ffs that should tell you Lemieux should stay away from world class fighters for the next year or so. His confidence which was boosted by the hype destroyed him. He needs to land back on earth and get back to the basics. His style was very flashy, alot of power punches thrown in bunches, but somebody forgot to tell him he was going to face someone who could take his power one day and be very prepared for that. Dude needs to pace himself to begin with and learn to clinch, move away from your opponents money punch, some head movement, just some basic defense. He's fun to watch, or used to be fun to watch, but you gotta do whatever to win and sometimes even if you can't knock the guy out. Puncher's like Gamboa, Freitas, and even Maidana at some point have boxed or tried to learn to box to win a decision against an opponent they knew they couldn't ko. It's make or break time for Lemieux.

Molitor was a 2 time world champ who had 6 defenses and never got hyped by anyone. Lemieux didn't do **** and was being called the future! I remember stories about how he would be the next DLH with the good looks, charisma and exciting ring style and that HBO were gonna scoop him up and make him huge if he beat Rubio.
