Farmer pops a jab and runs to the ropes, tracking around the perimeter with long kicking steps. Pedraza is throwing haywire right jabs, missing but directing Farmer around the ring. Arm punches from Farmer as he hops laterally out of Pedraza's way. A few body shots by Pedraza as he leans into Farmer and gets tied up. Cuffing slaps to the face by Pedraza on the inside. Farmer backs out and counters with far-reaching right hooks as his back hits the ropes. Farmer can't get any leverage on his punches but is landing more cleanly. Pedraza is landing far more and the heavier blows but with such atrocious technique, literally just slapping at times.

Pedraza is backing Farmer up with sloppy overhand lefts to the maw and whipping rights to the body. Farmer keeps jabbing with his right while getting marched around the ring and whacked high and low by the sloppy but relentless attacks of Pedraza.

Round 8

Farmer is knocked down by an accidental headbutt. At least, that's the ruling. It seems more like Farmer injured his hand during an exchange, as he holds it limply with his wrist bent. Time in. Pedraza jumps inside and flurries on Farmer, who is stopped on his feet.
