The hell are you talking about? Pacquiao was letting his punches go all night against Clottey. That's a big contrast to Donaire who can barely let off a 2 punch combination.

How was Nishioka spoiling? By standing there with his hands up not throwing punches? That's not spoiling, that's called doing nothing. Donaire should have been able to take advantage of that and pick him apart. Instead he stood there, waited around for Nishioka to open up , or threw a little pecking right hand every now and then. Donaire has no clue how to setup a basic offense, if he did, the fight would have been stopped way earlier.

This has also been common thread in Donaire's last several fights. It's no coincidence why his fights have been stinkers lately.

Truth is, as impossible as it is to make, Rios should wage war with Mathysse.

Should've seen Rios win coming. Alvarado barely got by Prescott and had no other names on his record. Good win by Rios. He'll get killed by Pac or Marquez at 140 though.

No Rigo is even more overrated than Donaire. Okay if you want a fighter at 122, have Donaire beat Moreno.

    This is an intelligent post.

Also, whats the deal with the Nish stoppage that iss what I came on here for to find out. Did the Japanese throw in the towel for sure? It didn't seem definitive that they did and I didn't see them showing any footage of that or really discussing it much which was weird. Only the ref stopping it. They better have, if they didn't that stoppage was horrible.

Props to Rios, although his brain is going to be mush he is one helluvan entertaining warrior. I agree that this stoppage was very poor, not to take anything away from Rios, but Mike was clearly winning a highly contested fight up until that point, had his hands up the whole time and was attempting to clinch.

I want to know if the Japanese threw the towel in and if they did I want to know what their thoughts were as to why they did it. Nish was very ready for battle at the time of stoppage however didn't seem to give a **** and wasn't mad at his corner or anybody.

So he needs to learn a little bunny-hop footwork and start jumping in with lead lefts out of the southpaw stance, is that what you mean? Is that how you "set up offense"?

Some guys think that jumping weight classes is easy because Pacquiao and Mayweather have done it.
