Speed kills, speed with counterpunching ability and power really destroys. This is why Nonito is the best. Mares would be a joke against Nonito as well as Rigo, now Moreno could actually give Nonito some fits but really the outcome would be a Donaire win. I can't believe Mares is fighting Moreno, I can see Moreno getting the shafted end of the decision just like Darchinyan did against Mares.

The only thing he's being overrated as.Is being the next PPV star with rock star status. He is just not aggressive or exciting to watch. But his offense is good.He needs more time to get those PPV ratings up.LOL

Let's see if he gets less BOOS next time LOL.Will he starts to be more explosivo! LOL

Donaire won't fight Rigo because Bob Arum says you will destroy him and I won't be able to make any money off of this Cuban. Oh wait, he can't draw flies to ****, go ahead Donaire take the fight.

Even the folks that consider themselves hard core boxing fans seem clueless when it comes to Donaire. I just don't get it....:think

Donaire got great skills and i have no problem acknowleging that but it makes me wonder when i see the same people who talk down on Floyd's career accusing him fighting weak opposition and then are praising donaire for only weak champions and obviously looking to duck, weave, and take the backroads through weight classes, makes me wonder if they are idiots or just too much of a fanboy.

I have been watching his career closely for a while, he is not fooling me like he is fooling a lot of people. he didn't fight **** at 118, didn't want to compete in bantam tourny. Completely bypass Mares who has been calling him out repeatly after he won the tourny. Donaire ran away from that big fight that was such a cowardly move IMO. I know i'm going to get hate for it but I am going to calling out his bull****.

Now he is at 122 and fought Matabula the obviously the weakest champ of the division.

And yes mr. 11-0 Rigo is clearly the best fighter at 122 NOT Nishima! Not even close.
Rigo is too balantly obvious that he is insanely good.

And he got the nerve to say he is Paciqauo.

I hope Donaire stays here and cleans out the division, he seems comfortable at 122, the Winner of Mares/Moreno, maybe then Rigo will have fought better competition maybe a fight with Arce to actually get us true boxing fans to believe not these fanboys on here.

That right straight was a GEM. He put his weight on his right side then, bang! He even let Nish throw a jab at him then smacked that right in there.

Take nothing away from Donaire he fought well. Was half watching and on xbox but from what I saw he did brilliant. Hard to watch as I was rooting for Nishi but well done Donaire.

Nishi wasnt on his game because of what Nonito could bring. Simple as that. It's like Mosley vs Pac, when he felt what Pac could bring he was outta there. Or pac vs Clottely. Nishi is a wonderful fighter, he was just extremely tentative of that left, which opened him for the right which he was not making. he couldnt make the adjustment, because doing that would open him up for the left. later he became more free with his punches, then got KD. power, speed, timing, will make anyone tentative.

Nonito vs Rigo really needs to happen, but i dont see Rigo being able to take Nonito's shots honestly.

BTW rjj did have good fundamentals, he had a good jab, and he could fight in a textbook way -- but having the athleticism he did, why would he? Jones said he fought like that because he had too, otherwise he would not enjoy himself.

Nonito is like a mini RJJ who uses his jab more.

Arum just resigned Rigo so I doubt this fight happens anytime before the end of the contract period. It would be a boring fight though. Rigo looking to counter punch and Nonito taking even more time with him than he did with Nishi. It would be good for those of us that would really like to see how it played out, but it wouldn't be Rios/Alvarado 2.

Mares had to extend the tourney because of the bull**** nut cracking job he pulled at the end. Donaire felt too weak to still make 118 hence the move to 122. He looks comfortable at this weight.

Mares got a gift decision against Darchinyan someone Donaire KO'd. Mares has put in the work and deserves a shot against Donaire way more than Rigo does unfortunately he is a GBP fighter so it just won't happen. After Moreno it will be interesting to see who the winner fights after that.
