1 - Cant wait till Arum is out of boxing for good.

2 - Not the worst stoppage, and not one I would deem horrible, but I would have liked to see it go on a few seconds longer but Alvarado had his arms stiff without defending himself, was a matter of a few punches more would have been a legit stoppage. Still, would have liked to have seen those land before you call off a dog fight between two warriors like this. Even Rios knew it should have gone on a lil longer.

alvarado was always going to lose unless he got the KO. sad to see he was losing on the cards although he was dominating. I had it 4-2 alvarado clearly and then HBO tried to disguise the cheating by repeating 'hard rounds to score', ****ing pricks.

It was a bit early. Rios was tired, too. Who know what would have happened had the ref gave a standing 8 count. Now we will never know.

Good stoppage, Alvarado could barely hold his hands up to his face, he looked out on his feet, and with the punches that had landed think the ref did the right thing, Rios teeing off on him would have been rather unpleasant.

Gattis leg never wobbles though he just takes steps back and gets pounded and he never stares into space either

i would have loved to see the fight go on longer but if im being honest with my self i think it was the right decision buy the ref which i dont say all that often ,,, the funny thing was i had alvarado ahead thought he was out boxing rios but got drawn in to trading shots ,,, would love to see a remactch best fight by a country mile from last night out shun the "main event" whch was a bit of let down

rios was stealing rounds, but he was still loosing. rios and garcia in the corner knew they were losing, and alvarados team knew they were getting the better.

    Perfectly timed stoppage imo

Alvarado had eaten at least 10 flush shots in a row, he wasnt throwing back, he was clearly badly hurt & most importantly wasnt able to defend himself.

The ref was excellent, as was the fight.

Early stoppage but I honestly feel Alvarado would have been KTFO with a couple more shots. He was a sitting duck on the ropes and open for target practice.

stoppage was justified..alvarado was caught up on the ropes and just catching flush shots...one more combination and mike would have been out though
