Rios would put Marquez on his ASS in an inside fight.

You are correct JMM's poison is some inside fighting, Problem is the fighter on the other end also must have the "Chin" to absorb what is coming back at him.

    Brandon might fit that bill??

Marquez just steps back and counters anything.

    Left hook to the body.

The Liver is weak on all men.. unlike the chin.

It took marquez 10 rounds to kO diaz..Rios would destroy Diaz in less the 10 rounds, bet ur life on it..Rios inside game is underated he got the best inside game next to Chavez SR. :deal

Rios will probably drop Marquez but Marquez will come back to win on points or late stoppage from counter combinations.

I'd pick Rios to beat Marquez, possibly by KO. Rios has a greater chance of beating Marquez than Pacquiao does. That's why Marquez refused to fight Rios and cited an exceedingly gay excuse saying that "Rios doesn't make weight" even though the fight would have been contested at 140. However, Pacquiao would maul and demolish Rios. Syles make fights.

Not sure he has the same explosive power as Katsidis. Rios has a good shot, but that left hook from Katsidis came from an angle he didn't see coming while coming forward, I feel like JMM would shove Rios forward and throw mid-range combinations that would make Alvarado's look like pitty pat punches; his left hooks became predictable after the 3rd round. Also Katsidis seemed to have a bit of an edge in terms of footspeed coming forward. Good fight and age could catch up to Marquez, but he'd likely wreck Rios in the end.

Honestly, I think Mensah beats Rios.
