Rios is ridiculously skilled on the inside.

Ya gotta be pretty stupid if you think 6 seconds proves anything. Why don't you post the video where someone counted and documented April's clinches?

He still gas a point. Abril completely nullified Rios' inside game. Alvarado had success with the shoulder roll as well but opted to slug it out inside of fight smart.

I didn't see any inside skill as a matter of fact Alvarado was more skilled on the inside with his ability to get space and attack the body while circling Rios on the inside.

You lost. Admit it. You can claim "Owned". No clue what "YDSAB" (You Decimate Stupid ******* Bitches?) means but let me repeat one last time cuz you will continue to suck Abril's Cuban dick like a cigar until they plant you in the ground no matter what. The ONLY opinions that matter in that fight:

    -04-14 135 Brandon Rios 137 29-0-1
Mandalay Bay Resort & Casino, Las Vegas, Nevada, USA L SD 12 12
referee: Vic Drakulich | judge: Adalaide Byrd 117-111 | judge: Jerry Roth 112-116 | judge: Glenn Trowbridge 113-115
vacant WBA World lightweight title (supervisor: Robert Mack)

I'm through with your stupidity and denial. :yep

RIos lost 11 of 12 rounds to Abril, you don't have to like Abrils style but Rios didn't land **** on him! Abril was the only one landing clean punches. Ref didn't stop Abrils tactics so why would he stope something he's having success with? See B-Hop for another who uses whatever the ref lets him get away with. Fact is in 11 out of 12 rounds Abril clearly landed the more clean effective punches.

Rios is a 2nd rate Gatti who doesn't box as well. Katsidis 2.

he looked sloppy to me, he throws powerful short shots but he has 0 defense on the inside

Yeah, he definitely has defensive flaws, but he does have his ways of avoiding shots. Compare their faces after the first 3 rounds, Rios barely has some red scratching, while Alvarado has swollen features.

I expected more from Rios. He impressed the hell out of me the way he outboxed Peterson and broke Acosta down. He is more interested in just slugging it out these days though he does have the heart and chin to go along with it. He had some okay head movement and credit to Alvarado for getting around Brandons guard. It was more relentless, warrior-like mentality and high punch-output than 'skilled inside fighting.' It was effective but a higher caliber fighter would have had his way with Rios.

Abril put on a good display of boxing ability and deserved the decision.
