    His response to the question was no different to any other fighter who has said: he needs to do more before he can call me out.

    I agree, Nonito should just **** it and face him, but I wouldn't accuse him of ducking him.

    He had the same response when he was still in flyweight after Brian Viloria was calling him out. They never fought, of course.

    Rigo isn't the only guy at 122. Rigo has plenty of other options as well. As it stands, Donaire in simply on another level and has proven himself. This reminds me a little of the Bute/Ward situation after S6. Bute wanted the winner, and Ward wanted him to do something against the other S6 fighters. Can understand that. One guys does the hard work, the other just expects to be given a red carpet ride to the fight.

    What exactly has Rigo done to earn a shot?

    He MIGHT be excellent, but he has achieved nothing as a professional.

    I like Rigo, but dude won in interim belt at 122, and interim belts get handed out like candy on Halloween it seems. If I were Donaire, I might not waste time w/ Rigo yet either. As long as Donaire fights top guys, even if they aren't Rigo, I sure as **** won't complain.

    Rigondeaux has done more than Vazquez Jr or Mathebula who were deemed worthy of fighting for his belt.

    Mathebula was the mandatory for the IBF belt Donaire held, IIRC. Vazquez Jr wasn't any great shakes, but had at least fought some good fighters. And Donaire followed it up by beating the number one guy in the division.

    Rigondeaux basically has Cordoba and Rico Ramos, who was utter gash in winning the title the Cuban relieved him of. Who was his last fight against?
