So you call an over the hill 37 years old semi-retired fighter, Vazquez jr and Mathebula hard work? Donaire hasn't face anyone that could give him trouble at 122, and when he was a the lower weight he was always the bigger guy.

Personally, just like his country man. The toughest fight is the FEATHERWEIGHTS. Just like when Pacquia moved up he met some real resistance. I reckon Salido, Gamboa and De leon are tremendous fights!!Gamboa is way better than Rigonbum anyway.

Are you serious? Rigondeaux has seen every size in his career and none of the so call elite wants a part of him, including Nonito, by the way Nonito doesn't have a following like Pacquio and doesn't bring the revenue so he is full of $h1t just like fans excusing him, stop playing promoter and ask for the best fights, he knows that for the first time in his career he will meet a guy that could put him to sleep with one punch, or send him for an emergency liver transplant, Rigondeaux is faster and a better boxer than him, and more famous too, ESPN was giving the news about the 2 time olym gold medalist when he got caught trying to defect, look for any nonitos news or fight in ESPN or any major media outlet, you will need a magnifying glass to read it.

I thought Pacquio didn't took the test because he was afraid of "needles"

The difference with Bute is that... Bute didn't win two olympic golds and Bute had already had 30 odd fights against bums. Ward had plenty of guys around his weight that people wanted to see him fight. Everybody knows Donaire vs Rigondeaux is the fight to be made. Donaire is blatantly ducking Rigo.

I really can't believe how people continuously stuff an irrelevant fact down our throats.

What does those gold medal mean in the pros? :patsch

Nonito stayed in 112 too long. He was also inactive a lot. Now he is more active. He looks like improving. Maybe he keeps getting better. But I dunno, the featherweights are something else. RIGO doesn't deserve it. Donaire should move up after one or two fights at 122.Then go up to 126.Where the real challenges are.I reckon the train grinds to a halt there.

It means he's talented as **** at this sport called boxing. If those gold medals mean nothing then why do promoters scramble to sign up those medal winners for the pro game?
I love how Americans act like the amateurs mean nothing, coincidently when they're **** in the amateurs. Also coincidently that they are now **** in the pros, due to a lack of amateur talent coming through. Funny that.
Look at how excited everyone is getting about a B grade fighter like Broner. Just another Berto/Lacy from a country where the boxers are shite.
Best American boxer in recent years? Easily Andre Ward. A gold medallist.
Remember when the super six started and nobody rated Ward as a chance, because his Gold medal counts for nothing in the pros? He beat them all with the same boxing skills he had at the Olympics.
Pull your head out of the sand. :good

except for the cubans and nonito haters, i really don't think anybody is buying the "nonito is ducking/scared of rigo" crap.
