It has come to my attention that some people believe that pac fought a better version of shane mosley than mayweather did.

    Do you agree or disagree.

Mosley's performance against bigger man Mora was better than his win over drained and distracted Margarito, so therefore Pacquiao's win was better. The fact that Arum didn't want to make Pacquiao-Mosley after seeing that barnburner against Mora just reinforces this and demonstrates how truly courageous Manny is.

    this.

floyd and pac both fought a shot version of mosley. floyd's version, although coming off margarito win, was also coming off a long lay-off which is not good for an aging fighter. couple that with mosley over-training because of the cancelled berto fight. pac fought a year older version that doesn't want to engage. it's surprising though that against canelo, mosley was engaging against a young fighter but was way too past it to win.

Pac fought a year older version, way more punishment version, confidence drained version, losing streak version, even more slurred speech version. Up and down in weight version. Do I have to go on.

floyd fought a better version. i dont know why this thread exists. floyd fought mosley after he put on an impressive win. pac fought mosley after shane had a very one-sided loss and a draw at a higher weight with a nobody. pac fought a clearly "more shot" version.

in terms of preparation, mosley might even be on a good standing against pac. mosley might have over-trained for the floyd fight as seen when he was gasping for air in just the 3rd round and that was after a big mosley round. it's a sign of burn-out.

well, there's not really much separating the two versions. both are **** versions of shane.

I agree. Keep in mind too that moving back down a division at his age could only have enhanced Mosley's abilities leading up to the Pacquiao fight, plus he gained valuable ring experience in the year since the Floyd bout.

    Mayweather did obviously.

Mosley was the champion when Pac DUCKED Mosley after Mosley caved Margarito's ass in. Floyd fought him instead :deal

Yeh shane gassed out so bad in round 2 against floyd that he only threw 452 punches the whole fight compared to 330 against pac.

Mosley was not shot in those fights. Maywaether beat a B Mosley. He beat an old man. Pacquiao scared the **** out of him and beat a bit older Mosley.
Now Alvarez beat the crap out of a shot Mosley. The old ****er could not pull the trigger. He had no snap in his punches. And it seemed like no power at all.
