The obvious names: Rigo, Mares, Moreno

I don't care which order Donaire takes these guys, but he must fight them to get my respect

Arce is no De La Hoya. Beating him isn't going to make Donaire as big as Pac or Floyd. I don't give a damn about Nonito's earnings. I just want a fight that's likely competitive. I'm not speaking for myself but on behalf of all real boxing fans.

Moreno/Mares aren't fighting Donaire at 122 since they are GBP fighters.

Rigo apparently doesn't want to fight anyone good to earn a shot. Might as well move up.

I hear Donaire walks around at a weight of 140 lbs. If that's true I don't think 126 will be a problem for him at all. He'll continue to fight guys who are tailor made for him. Shame.

In defense of Donaire, wouldn't it be ideal for Rigo to chase Donaire by moving up as well? I would think Rigo can fight at 126; it'd put a lot of pressure on Donaire to fight him.

I heard Mikey Garcia is actually open to fighting Donaire. God I hope circumstances change and that fight happens because I do not see Salido or PDL being much of a threat to Donaire.

Before he moves up he should fight Mares vs Moreno winner then Rigondeaux. He would then have unified the division.

I don't know if Rigondeaux is big enough for 126 lbs he weighed 128 lbs on fight night against Marroquin who weighed 134 lbs.

Whether Salido wins or loses against Garcia, it's very reasonable to think that Arum would want to match Donaire against him.

John and Ponce however are not so reasonable thoughts due to their promotional alignment (GB). Same can be said about Gary Russell Jr.

Yet again the idiots of the ESB come out to play again. A fighter the experts say is pound for pound one of the best and whenever he seems to fight the opponent is scared to even engage him yet some plastic fans of the sport seem to think he isn't good at all and want to flame him.

John is promoted by Golden Boy? I was under the impression he was promoted by some random outfit in Indonesia. Interesting.

The point is, that Donaire repeatedly avoids the best opposition in his weight class. He didn't fight any of the five best guys at 118, while he, and they were at 118. At 122, he hasn't fought Mares, Moreno, Rigondeaux, or Agbeko. All the of the mentioned would beat Nishioka who at 36 and hadn't fought for a year had to be talked out of retirement to fight Donaire. The four mentioned boxers are also all better than Vazquez Jr. and Mathebula as well, yet Donaire continues to avoid any semblance of talent and instead acts like a scared coward. I mean, never have I seen a fighter make excuses that don't make sense to avoid another fighter. Donaire is plain acting like he is scared of Rigondeaux. "he isn't exciting," "he needs to build his name up." "he needs to build his record up." Rigondeaux has 8 KOs in 10 fights. His opponent hits the canvas in every fight. He has power to the body and the head, one shot power. He has handspeed. He has a questionable chin(which makes for an exciting match up.) Furthermore, Rigondeaux has done more recently than all of Donaire's recent opponents have, yet they weren't told to build their record up. WTF?! Donaire is acting like a straight up coward.

For the record, I would favor Donaire slightly over Rigondeaux, Agbeko, and Moreno, and don't think he would have much trouble with Mares. I just want to see him fight some live bodies, guys, who have the skill and ability, to fight their fight, instead of fighting like scared bitches, refusing to punch back. Donaire is blessed with too much talent to not be trying to cement himself as one of the best 122 pounders of all time. He could make a hell of a statement taking out better opposition, which is available around him.

I was recalling his fights against Rocky Juarez which were both promoted by GB.

Just double checked GB's site and he's still on their roster:
