It's ****ed up that he talks all this **** about all these fighters and how they suck, but really all he has done is beat Jermain Taylor. He hasn't done **** since losing to Hopkins. I used to like him a lot, but he has really fallen hard since his loss to Hopkins.

He is definitely drunk man.. he is having drunk talk, talking about a bunch of stuff that has nothing to do with anything. hahah its funny, but sad.. but drunks tell the truth...he is saying the truth. He is sooooooooooooooooooo bitter and has such a chip on his shoulder, he should retire, because this stuff is going to destroy him even further.

He is right though, they are holding him to a higher standard because he was supposed to be the America Hero, the white american champ. So he doesn't get a pass for doing things that isn't a FRACTION of what others do. It also has to do with the fact that the others are HUGE names whom the boxing world has revolved around for YEARS. Kelly has never reached THAT height. He could have, had he went on to KO Hopkins, when he KO'd Taylor, he was got huge, but he didn;t reach the Pac/May height, or he wouldve been making their type of money, or at least close.

 

Pavlik's story is a sad one. I remember thinking how much he could achieve after beating Taylor twice, and at that point in time, he looked like the perfect guy to be a superstar. A good fighter in the ring, humble, honest, decent and from a good family, he had it all. I still like Pavlik a lot but it's sad to see this rapid decline. He's gone from being the champion of the world, earning millions per fight, to being a drunk on the verge of losing everything decent in his life. Those people who trivialise his drinking need to realise how damaging it is. It's not simply a drink here and there, this will ruin his life.

I hope he can turn it around. I'd like nothing more than for Pavlik to beat Ward and be the Pavlik 99% of fans wanted him to be, just like in 2007. Sadly, the chances of that happening are slim now and there doesn't seem to be any change.

I'll always be a big Pavlik fan, so it's not nice seeing this.
