thanks for sharing. one of the best boxer interviews I've heard. Pavlik knows what to say. Listened to the whole ****in thing. and I agree what he says about Edwin Rodriguez. "honestly, he's horrible, throws his punches wide, i'd knock him out in 2 rounds." hahah

**** he's right, he really shouldn't be drinking though. Not because I judge a fighter on that type of ****, but because it's not really good for his career.

I don't know what it is, but I've always liked Pavlik. Not the strongest or fastest guy, or even the most skilled, but he always brings it.

"If my godfather was the president of one of the sanctioning bodies, I'm sure I could probably walk away from all my drug tests, and then when I finally do take one, I get busted for ****ing marijuana." ~Kelly Pavlik on Julio Cesar Chavez Jr. and the favoritism showed him by the WBC's president :rofl

I don't know how anyone could possibly could take anything happy out of this. He's obviously drinking, bitter and lacking direction. The whole thing is sad. I just hope he beats his addiction one day and is able to get his life on track.

Kelly is the local and I support him. I haven't heard this interview but I'll say the same thing I did last time he gave an interview like this. He needs to stop concentrating on others and just worry about himself. If he wants to beat Ward maybe he should go back to Oxanard NOW and start getting some reps in. There are still some of the new things he is working on that don't come nearly fluid enough and he will need them against a fighter of Ward's caliber. If not, things have been heating up down at the Royal Oaks and the bouncer could use some help...... Some 'interesting' action just again tonight...

hahah people aren't talking about Floyd and Manny because they stay relevant in the rings you dumbo, what the **** have YOU done the last 5 years and people could talk about ? Your fights against Jaco and Sigmon ?

Can't believe this stupid is drunk as **** on a radio show. :rofl Actually Pavlik fans are just as ******ed as him.

FFS he does sound like he's been drinking, that's sad man. It was interesting when he said Robert Garcia is the only one that get's in touch with him, obviously Top Rank don't give a **** about him any more and are cashing out.

Tha Boxing Voice are great people though, they always get good interviews. :good

Not heard the interview, but damn, I really hope he wasn't drinking. It seemed like he was recovering quite well since joining Garcia's gym.

I like Kelly and am really pulling for his return (however unlikely it is), but the above is the truth. Manny and Floyd, for all the **** they do, still turn up in the ring and perform. And even then they get quite a bit of stick. I mean, come on, no one can tell me Mayweather's gets away with his antics in the media. He gets shitted on all the time. Far worse than Kelly, that's for sure.

Pavlik is pretty ordinary an one dimensional. He has a punchers chancs versus Ward , the same punchers chance he had against Popkins. A Pavlik-Ward fight will be as competitive as Ward allows it to be. Two fighters on two different levels. The interview was pretty funny though, even if Kelly sounds like a hating ass drunk.....
