Within Rigo next 3 fights he's gonna face Donaire.
That's what Arum promised Hyde in order to sign an extension.
Donaire knows it and he kind of admitted it.He says that if its written in a contract he will honored.
No that I believe Arum or Donaire,so far the flash is going after Arce in Mexico and Rigo is looking for an opponent in December.
    At the scene

Why not his next fight or two, what 3 fights is he going to have inbetween? By the time those fights happen (a years time) Donaire may have moved up or there will be more excuses. Hope it happens, but I'm sceptical

It's a welcome turn of event.

I'm willing to wait for it.

    in three fights right?

So basically 2 fights for each before they meet head on, if I am understanding it right.

Donaire just had Nishi, and he slated for Arce in december. So that's 2.

    What's Rigo's schedule?

Makes sense. Gives Rigo a chance to make some noise to help promote it all.

    I'm seeing it now.

Rigo will have WV2 and another guy.

A TRULY GREAT FIGHT FOR NONITO TO TAKE right before he leaves the weight division completely undisputed (since mares cant fight due to promotion bull****)

i think rigo will outbox him for a while but nonitos got some freakish power and rigos chin has been wobbled a bit, great fight to watch

    Yeah, that'll be good.

It's Nito's chance now to shut a lot of his critics up.

I don't think Arum can make that promise. Nonito is not obligated to sign every contract Arum puts in front of him. He still ultimately gets the last word.

Doesn't make sense to match Arce with Donaire, if they are claiming Rigondeaux needs to build his brand up. Would make more sense to match Rigondeaux with Arce. After he destroys Arce, a fight with Donaire will have to be made.

Arce will provide an action fight to silence the Donaire critics that keep bitching that his fights aren't exciting enough. The lower weights make less money and they are going to hold this in a large stadium in Mexico City according to what I've been reading so there should be a good take at the gate. In a nutshell, this provides cash for Nonito (he's earned it) and excites the fans. Marketing 101.

Sorry but I don't believe this Mexico City stuff for one second. Donaire-Nishioka was apparently going to take place at the Mall of Asia stadium but didn't because showing the fight on HBO was far more important for both his wallet and his career. That's still the case today and given how terribly HBO's last broadcast in Mexico went I don't see them going back there any time in the future.

I honestly hope Donaire do fight Rigo cause i believe Donaire will easily beat this overrated (i say overrated cause biased cubans like cubano talks like rigo is a superstar in the making) rigo in likely a boring fight cause rigo will likely run like he's scared to get hit.
